- By accessing, browsing, or placing an order through limitedcandles.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the site.
- Our products
- AETHER is our signature fragrance and remains in continuous production.All other fragrances are released in limited editions and produced only once. Once a fragrance sells out, it is permanently retired and will not be reproduced.Because every candle is hand-poured, natural variations in wax appearance, color, vessel finish, frosting, fragrance intensity, and other cosmetic characteristics may occur. These variations are expected and are not considered manufacturing defects.Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the safe use or performance of the product are not considered defects.Product photography is intended to represent our products as accurately as possible; however, colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen or device settings.Because fragrance is subjective and naturally varies based on room size, ventilation, burn conditions, and individual perception, scent preference or perceived fragrance strength alone does not constitute a product defect.
- Orders
- Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase our products. Your order is accepted only after it has been processed and shipped.We may refuse, limit, or cancel orders when necessary, including in cases of inventory shortages, pricing or typographical errors, suspected fraud, payment authorization failures, suspected unauthorized resale, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.If we cancel an order after payment has been received, you will receive a full refund.
- Pricing and payment
- All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and may change without notice.Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated during checkout.Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment providers. LIMITED does not collect or store your complete payment card information.
- Shipping
- Shipping timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.Ownership of, and responsibility for, your order transfers to you once the shipping carrier marks the package as delivered to the shipping address provided during checkout.LIMITED is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, supply chain disruptions, incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer, or other events beyond our reasonable control.Please review our Shipping Policy for additional information.
- Returns and replacements
- Unused candlesUnused, unopened, and unlit candles in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery.Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.Approved returns receive store credit equal to the purchase price of the returned product. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.Used candlesFor health, safety, and quality reasons, candles that have been:LitBurnedUsedHad the wick trimmedcannot be returned or exchanged.Damaged or defective productsIf your order arrives damaged or defective, email studio@limitedcandles.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of both the product and the shipping packaging.If we determine the product arrived damaged or defective, we may, at our discretion:Replace the productIssue store creditRefund the purchase priceIf the damaged product was part of a sold-out limited edition, we may provide a refund or store credit instead of a replacement.We generally do not require damaged products to be returned.Limited editionsLimited-edition fragrances cannot be exchanged for the same fragrance once they have sold out.Return processingStore credit is typically issued within 5 business days after your return has been received and inspected.
- Candle safety
- Candles contain an open flame and should always be used responsibly.By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge that improper candle use may result in fire, burns, property damage, personal injury, or death.Always:Trim the wick to 1/4 inch (6 mm) before each burn.Burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time.Place candles on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.Keep candles away from curtains, bedding, paper, furniture, decorations, and all other flammable materials.Keep candles out of reach of children and pets at all times.Keep away from drafts, ceiling fans, open windows, and air vents.Leave at least 4 inches (10 cm) between burning candles.Extinguish the flame before leaving the room.Never burn while sleeping.Stop burning when approximately 1/2 inch (12 mm) of wax remains.Allow the vessel to cool completely before handling, as it may become hot during use.Never leave a burning candle unattended.Never move a burning candle or one containing hot liquid wax.Never extinguish a candle with water.You are solely responsible for using our products safely and in accordance with the warning label affixed to each candle.LIMITED is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from misuse, abuse, modification, failure to follow the provided safety instructions, or use inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Fragrance and product use
- Our candles are intended solely for ambient home fragrance and personal household use.Individual sensitivities to fragrance vary. If irritation, discomfort, or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
- Website use
- You agree not to:Provide false or misleading information.Attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems.Use bots, scripts, or automated software to place orders.Scrape, harvest, or copy website content or data.Interfere with website security or functionality.Resell LIMITED products commercially without our prior written permission.Misuse our trademarks, branding, or intellectual property.We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the website or cancel orders where these Terms are violated.
- Intellectual property
- All content on this website — including our trademarks, logos, product names, fragrance names, product designs, labels, packaging, website design, photography, videos, graphics, and written content — is owned by or licensed to LIMITED and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.No portion of this website or its content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without our prior written permission.
- Accuracy of information
- We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, pricing, photographs, and other website content are accurate. However, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or pricing mistakes, update information, or cancel affected orders without prior notice.
- Disclaimer of warranties

- LIMITED shall not be responsible for delays or failures to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government actions, labor shortages, supplier interruptions, raw material shortages, cyberattacks, utility failures, transportation delays, shipping carrier disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
- Governing law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which LIMITED operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.Before initiating legal action, you agree to first contact us at studio@limitedcandles.com so we may attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.
- Severability
- If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- No waiver
- Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other rights available to us.
- Entire agreement
- These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, return policy, and any other policies referenced on this website, constitute the entire agreement between you and LIMITED regarding your use of the website and purchases made through it.
- Changes to these terms
- We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.The version in effect at the time your order is placed will govern that purchase.
