Fragrance Story
Vesper is the smell of an empty room at midnight, when a fire has been lit and left to soften. Charred cedar arrives first, dry and low. Smoked cardamom threads through the middle, adding a quiet spice. Black vanilla pools at the base — not sweet, more like polished wood in the dark.
It is a nightcap in candle form. Best in low light, small rooms, and long conversations.
Two hundred jars, poured together, then done. Vesper will not return to the catalog.

Craftsmanship
We pour, wick, and inspect every candle by hand in our American studio. Once this batch ships, we move on to the next fragrance.
Signature Packaging
Each candle ships in a rigid black box with a hand-tied closure and a letterpress edition card. Paper, glass, and wax — nothing to throw away.
Care
- First burn: let the wax pool reach the edge to avoid tunneling.
- Trim the wick to 1/4" before each light.
- Burn no more than four hours at a time. Never leave unattended.
Ingredients
Coconut and apricot wax, cotton wick, fine fragrance oils. Phthalate-free. No dyes.
