Aether is the first candle we ever finished, and the one we could not bring ourselves to retire. Ozone opens the room like cool air from an unseen window. White cedar gives it structure. A deep mineral musk settles low, so the scent lingers long after the wick is out.
It behaves less like a fragrance and more like the air itself — the kind of quiet you notice only when it is missing. It burns evenly in a bedroom, a bathroom, a small studio; it never announces itself.
Aether is the one exception in our catalog. We pour it against a locked formula, in continuous production, so you can always come back to it.

Craftsmanship
We pour, wick, and inspect every candle by hand in our American studio. Aether runs against a locked formula, so the version you receive is always the version we approved.
Signature Packaging
Each candle ships in a rigid black box with a hand-tied closure and a letterpress edition card. Paper, glass, and wax — nothing to throw away.
Care
- First burn: let the wax pool reach the edge to avoid tunneling.
- Trim the wick to 1/4" before each light.
- Burn no more than four hours at a time. Never leave unattended.
Ingredients
Coconut and apricot wax, cotton wick, fine fragrance oils. Phthalate-free. No dyes.
