Cinder is the room after the guests leave — glasses still out, one lamp on, the smell of the fire beginning to soften. Amber resin builds a low, honeyed base. Smoked labdanum threads dark warmth through the middle. Tonka rounds the finish so the scent holds long after the wick is out.
It is a candle for late evenings, small rooms, and the hour when a house finally quiets down.

Craftsmanship
We pour, wick, and inspect every candle by hand in our American studio. Once this batch ships, we move on to the next fragrance.
Signature Packaging
Each candle ships in a rigid black box with a hand-tied closure and a letterpress edition card. Paper, glass, and wax — nothing to throw away.
Care
- First burn: let the wax pool reach the edge to avoid tunneling.
- Trim the wick to 1/4" before each light.
- Burn no more than four hours at a time. Never leave unattended.
Ingredients
Coconut and apricot wax, cotton wick, fine fragrance oils. Phthalate-free. No dyes.
